Biography

 

Joke is a Co-Managing Partner at Aluko & Oyebode, serving on the Firm's Management Board, the ALN Board, and the Governing Council of Nile University of Nigeria. She is a core member and partner in the Firm's dispute resolution practice, with extensive experience leading complex, high value litigation and arbitration cases. Joke chiared two Nigerian Bar Association, Unity Bar, Abuja Committees: the CLE Committee (2019-2020) and Law Reporting Committee (2020-2021). She holds degress from the University of Ibadan and University of Pennsylvania, is licensed in Nigeria and New York, and earned business certificates from Wharton and Columbia University. She has recieved numerous recognistions, including Lexology Index Ranking 2025, Thought Leader - Firm Management, Leaf 500 EMEA 2025: Leading Partner - Dispute Resolution; Legal Partner 2024: Leading Individual; Lexology Index 2024: Thought Leader - Firm Management and Recommend Lawyer - Commercial Litigation; and IFLR 1000 2023: Expert Consultant in Restructuring, M&A and Project Development.

By registering for the Riyadh International Disputes Week 2025 (“RIDW26), you agree to the following terms:
  • Registration Fees: Once paid, event registration fees are non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable. Fees are valid exclusively for entry to RIDW26.
  • Promotional Codes: Any promotional codes are personal to the individual or entity to whom they were provided and are non-transferable. Individuals or entities other than those specified are ineligible to apply or use these promotions. The Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) and the RIDW26 Organizing Committee reserve the right to deny or cancel the registration and entry of anyone who attempts to use a promotion for which they are not eligible. Paid amounts will not be refunded if denied or canceled registrations
  • Media Consent: By attending any RIDW24 event, you waive any rights to object to your appearance in media coverage related to the event, including photos, videos, and television. This applies whether captured directly by the event host or by other media present.
  • Photography Permission: By accepting these terms and conditions, you grant permission for the SCCA, RIDW26 Organizing Committee and the Event Organizers to take photographs during the conference and events which may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the event organizers beforehand.
  • Post-Event Communciation: By accepting these terms and conditions, you grant permission for the SCCA, RIDW26 Organizing Committee and the Event Organizers to contact you after the events regarding services and opportunities that may be of interest to you. If you prefer not to receive such communications, please inform the event organizers beforehand.
